In the late 20th century, the Wyrm was evil, the Weaver was mad, and the Wyld was dwindling. Now, the Wyrm has been destroyed and replaced, the Wyld is booming, and the Weaver is in therapy. A last dreg of the evil Wyrm, a tail that was cut off, crawled away and regrew a head, remains. This is the thing known as the Corruptor, and it still has a tenuous grip on the world and fights daily to regain lost power. The Wyrm before the Return of the Sun is known as the Corrupted Wyrm.
