Nightfall

This Sabbat-heresy's heart and soul is in Mexico City and the enormous slums surrounding it. Much of the local territory is also claimed by Nightfall, but the group's power core is the City, which it rules with an iron fist.

In the shape of a revolutionary army, Nightfall is run by General Salvador Sangre de Corazon (a Lasombra) and his ever-shifting raft of colonels. All members are taught the basics of guerilla warfare and survival in the jungles and deserts of the region. Trade routes to other Nightfall-run localities in Mexico is protected by the living and undead soldiers of Nightfall, and the web of cities and towns is ever-expanding in a great, revolutionary fashion. Enemies are lined up against a wall and shot regularly, but there are also intensely patriotic events celebrating the "salvation" of yet another city or town.

Grandmothers and grandfathers who remember the Long Night recall the General as coming before the Sun's Return to liberate them from the minions of Set and to make their lives better. In fact, their lives *are* better than they were during the Long Night. The General apparently has a powerful sentimentality for his hometown and the revolutionary history behind it, and although he is a dictador of renown, he also makes sure that his people have a higher standard of living than they might have otherwise. He has established treaties with the Guild of Technology and permitted Silicon Blaze to set up limited operations in Mexico City. In return, he expects a certain amount of protection from the feral shapechangers that often sabotage his operations and expansion.

Those who travel near the city without some kind of connection to the Guild or Silicon Blaze are likely to be captured by elite guerilla troops who are used to dealing with the savage were-jaguars that lurk in the nearby jungles, and who have little patience with those who resist arrest.

The General periodically sends out messengers to North and South America on recruiting and news-gathering missions. Members of Nightfall will not be likely to remain for long in any one place.
