There are dozens of sites with more information on the series "Shoujo Kakumei Utena" ("Revolutionary Girl Utena") than I have here. What I've cobbled together is a bit of information that may be useful to the new viewer, and a few things for the experienced (translation: at least one viewing of the entire series) viewer.
